It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to my neighborhood, on Boulevard Saint-Germain, just a few meters away from my home. Café Le Rouquet has been renovated over time while preserving the charm of its beginnings in the 1950s. It’s a true Parisian bistro, with its mosaic floor, Skai seats, and ceiling neon lights. A type of bar that is disappearing, with an old-fashioned atmosphere, whose authenticity is matched only by its conviviality.
I have always wanted to host a fashion show in a café, a strategic spot for people-watching and stylistic observation.
Showcasing my collections in an everyday setting, at the heart of the lives of women and men.
It was at a nearby terrace, sitting with my morning espresso while watching the passersby, that I conceived this collection and,
step by step, imagined this gallery of portraits of all ages for the Fall-Winter 2025-2026 show.
I also designed it while listening to the feedback of close friends and, sometimes, I admit, doing the exact opposite of what they wanted…
“Pierre, your pants are getting wider, this isn’t possible!”
Well, guess what, I designed a new style that’s even wider.
It’s called Evans, and I already love it.
“Pierre, your coats are too long!” Fine, I’ll shorten them so you can get a better look at my too-wide pants…
“Pierre, aren’t you tired of your color palette?”
You’re right: I’ll change everything… by a quarter of a shade!
In terms of materials, no major changes either. Since 2013, I have built my brand with a very precise qualitative positioning: selecting the best of everything. The soft and luxurious handfeel of the fabric must complement the fluidity and smoothness of Officine Générale garments.
At a time when our industry is undergoing major changes, it seemed more important than ever to assert my point of view, to reinforce the brands positioning of Officine Générale by working on its assets with a little listening, and above all, a lot of obstinacy.
